for answering my questions though I don't deserve such consideration
as I'm now a criminal.

It was a single misdemeanor for retail theft in US. So it is a crime
of moral turpitude. I have absolutely no arrest or charge of any kind
anywhere in Canada or anywhere else in the world except this one
incident recently, and i don't know how a law fearing person like me
ended up committing something like this at my age when I did know
better and I should have known better. Obviously I have serious issues
that I did not know of until this, to work out and spend the rest of
my life repenting and paying for what I've done. I haven't been able
to eat or sleep since and I can't walk out on the street with my head
up anymore. I feel hopeless as the court date approaches, I have no
idea if I'll be convicted or dismissed for my case...

Would you advise canceling all my immediate US trips until I can get
this dismissed and expunged? I don't even know if that makes any
difference... An arrest is an arrest, a charge is a charge and my
finger prints are not going anywhere...

God will forgive you my son
