Conversion of Visa Status from B-2 to F-2 in US

Hi all!

A very Happy New Year to you all!

I am from India. I am going US after marriage on visitor's visa. My
fiancee is studying there in US. I want to know whether I can get my
visitor visa status converted to F-2 (i.e. spouse visa/ dependent of a
student) there in US itself without returning back to country of
residence?
