Re: How do I find an immigrant?


Good day.

I am trying to locate an old friend of mine who immigrated to
the
united states from Germany. here's what I know. She got
married to a
US service man stationed in Germany. I don't know if the
marriage took
place in Germany, or in the US. She got her last name changed.
I know
her first name, and her last name before her marriage. They got
married about 3 years ago, about the time I lost contact.
That's about
it.

I just need some leads and/or ideas. I went to ancestry.com, and some
people finder websites, and I couldn't find anything. I figure
immigration should have her maiden name and her new name? I don't
know. I was hoping somebody on this website could help me out.

That is what we have done for the last 30 years and all the country has done is decline by doing that. ...
