Hi I am on H-I working for a employer A.

I have aquestion to ask for .

I am doing a contract job for my employer whose client is X and what
if the client X does not pay to my employer ?

That doesn't matter to you, it would be an issue between your employer and their
client. You are not a party to that contract.

What if my employer comes and says that the client X did not pay him
and so I will not be paid?

It would be illegal. Your employer has to pay you all the time. If they don't
get money from their customers, that's their business problem. Business owners
have to take that risk.

Whose problem is this anyway ,mine or my employer ?

You are not employed by X, so if X doesn't pay your employer, it is between X
and your employer.

Do I have to report this to immigration,THEN?By reporting if my
employer revokes my visa ,then?

If your employer doesn't pay you, you can report that to the DOL. The form is
here: http://www.dol.gov/esa/forms/whd/WH-4.pdf

One more thing I came to know is client X is not paying to students
here who are on CPT?

If these people work, X would be in violation of labor laws. However, you can't
do anything about it. Rather, the people themselves would have to complain.
