This problem isn't about border security. It's about supply and
demand. Very simply the US has enormous demand for low paying jobs
and
scarce supply of americans who want to take them. These low paying
jobs
are 10x what a Mexican can make in Mexico if they could find work, so
guess what, they risk life and limb to come here and take those jobs.
And thank god they are, otherwise my lawn would'nt get cut and there'd
be no one to serve me my coffee at Dunkin Donuts in the morning! We
need to make it easier for Mexican to come here and work, yes they
need
to be documented and they need to pay the proper taxes, but we are
blowing an opportunity to tap a low cost work force who could help
keep
more jobs here in the US. All this protectionism will get us nowhere
and you will all cry while US corporations close their doors to
foreign
competition who have access to cheaper labor.

about the way they are doing things! Check their schedule for town

meetings in your area. If none are scheduled ask them to schedule

your area. Then when they hold a town hall meeting, show up and
voice your
complaints. If we continue to do nothing, they will continue to do
nothing
that benefits us! Your voice may make the difference in how they
vote and
the way they draft new bills.
