While I agree with you till point number 2, there is no way in hell

Indian friend. he was a Muslim and was only 23 or 24 when he finished
his MS. I was in one class with him a year earlier during my last
semester. He is a *very* good in his field. After not being able to
find work directly with the IT companies, he had no choice but to join
these agencies. (If you can read between the lines, the point is that
these comapnies doesn't wan tto do all the immigration appaerwork and
leave it for the agencies.)
Yes, the agency changed his resume putting stuff he didn't know about
(but he went and learned those) and put 5 years experience. But he
cleared the interview and got the job and he managed well at work. And
I have another friend (in EE) who got H1 directly fro m the compnay but
even with his 25 years experince, the chores he has to do are
ridiculous, i.e he doesn't get to use his real skills but gain no usefl
skills. So the blame goes to these companiues who knowingly encourage
these abuse of H-1 and L1 visas and exploit these hardworking educated
people.
Ironically, even though these jobs advertisements
say that around 5 years of experience is required, usually someone with
not so high aptitude and limited trainig in that parituclar tool (2)
can manage to sustain in that position, this is very real, these jobs
can be done that way. They manage to get jobs in the biggest of US
companies (4).
Yes because the biggest companies wnat them, and not you.
This consultancy fraud is know to almost every Indian working in the
technology sector. The consultancies almost don't take any one other
than from India and surronding countires like Bangladesh, Srilanka. 99%
of those i have seen are from India and the remaining 1% from
Bangladesh, Srilanka etc.
You gotta admit that there are more Indians that the 2 other groups.
How many are doing this?
I believe there would be atleast a few thousands of consultancies.

Who is loosing due to this.
If this jobs can be done by someone with no experience in that
technology, can't these be done by those americans who have a better
experience (say 2 years or even 1 year),
Yeah, right. The poitnt was your biggest companies doesn't want to pay
the rate of experiencd. Do not want to pay health insunace and benefits
w/o getting to exploit you on H-1 for some years. gte it?
these folks work sincerely and
go with correct resumes get X dollars where as the fraudsters get 3X -
5X dollars.
I don't say that every one from India are doing this. But a significant
many are doing this. I know around 30 people working in US in
technology sector. Over 20 are working this way. I can confidently say
hundreds of thousands are doing this today and each year at least 50000
(from student pool, dependents pool, directly coming to the
consultancies as H1b workers from India) are joining them. Also, I am
talking about the small to mid sized (1- 1000 people) consultancies

the big Indian consultancies such as Infosys and TCS.
Why are they able to do it should be the real question. Why? Because US
immigration laws, controlled by the rich wants it that way.
