Re: USCIS processing dates


I applied for work authorization back in Feb 24th or atleast thats the
date
immigration recieved my application. I went to immigration's website
and
found this link
https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/officeProcesstimes.jsp?selecte-

They are showing the current processing dates for I-765 forms recieved
on
Nov. 3rd 2005 are just now being processed on March 10th when the site
was
last updated is this accurate??

My Lawyer told me it takes any where from 30 to 90 days for most
people to
get their work authorization usually no longer than 45 days, its been
about
9 weeks for me and no word yet, anyone know if this site is just wrong
or
the 30-90 wait time is a joke.

When I Check my cass status online this is all I get, the generic
message:
Your I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION was received on
February
24, 2006. We mailed you a receipt with information about processing.
It is
taking between 30 and 90 days for us to process this kind of case. We
will
mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete.

I've already submited my biometrics and health forms.

Anyone care to give me an overview on the entire process.

Thanks this information will be really appreciated as an employer has
offered me a position starting next month, and it doesnt look like ill
have
my papers by then.

2 to 3 months seems the norm.

After 90 days you can make an infopass and get one.

All USCIS timelines are generic and usually misleading.

Plus of course the only dates that are of interest to you is how long it
takes to process your application, not somebody elses.
