I wasn't defending for you per se. My statement was with regard to
what he/she does in general.

Considering that she works as an International Student Advisor, her so
called jokes lean toward insults and offence than humor. For example,
I remember her replying to fly or swin, or something like that to a
question where a person was asking how he could come to US explaining
his situation a bit..

As a person who was on F-1 student visa for along time at many
different universities, I can say with a clear conscience that his/her
coments are not intended to be just funny.
