K...some background. I have done the research and read many accounts of
the bad so I have the tools to recognize a potential green card
catastrophey. I don't claim to be an expert and I do not think anyone
ever really can be when it comes to human nature but I do not intend to
love blindely but I also do not intend to interogate someone about
their motives. I believe if we honestly listen to our gut we can spot
those whos intentions are on the up and up. Of course I could end up in
a mess but I think this is worth the risk and I fully intend to protect
myself as best as I can.
Yes I have seen the posts about scammers and the warnings about never
sending money no matter the reason. Other little warning signs like
someone professing love after only a few email exchanges. I have teated
this like I would treat any other potential partner. Yes I know that
she and I will have to meet and I am ready to do such, I am keeping all
of our communications and any records related to those communications.
I do appreciate your concern and I am fully aware that there is the
potential for the marriage going bad but this can be said regardless of
where your spouse is from. Considering the number marriages that end in
divorce between americans I dont think I have any better or worse
chances no mater where the person I meet is from.
