I don't know what kind of "action" you plan to take against your old
manager: was it you or him that signed the form saying you were a US
citizen? If you signed it knowing you were not a citizen, you are boned.
It's called personal responsibility, though if you think it doesn't
apply to you, you're in alignment with quite a few US citizens
already...
