1. Is it possible for some one working as a company Lawyer for a
Software consulting company in the USA?
Having a TN doesn't help or hurt someone from applying for a green card.
2. What should be the required salary for a lawyer applying for green
card?
3. Will it need filing I-140 and then I-485? How long it can take?
An employment based petition would be an I-140. Once the priority date
is reached then an I-485 is filed. TN visa holders can't enter the
United States with the intention of filing an I-485. This makes travel
difficult. They'd need an advance parole letter or immigrant visa to
reenter the US.
4. What will be the priority date for a Canadian citizen born in India?
I mean for I-140 (Labour Certification).

5. Can one keep renewing TN every year till one gets the green card?
Maybe. They'd have to qualify for the TN like anyone else, and they
can't have the intent to immigrate to the US. TN can't have immigrant
intent and must maintain an unrelinquished foreign residence.
6. Can spouse work if one partner is on TN?
A spouse of a TN is a TD. A TD cannot work. If the TD isn't Canadian,
they need an actual visa stamp.
7. Can a lawyer on TN have a private practice too in addition to
working as a lawyer for a company?
No. A lawyer can have more than one TN, but each TN has to be sponsored
by an employer. A TN cannot self sponsor. A company would have to
sponsor the TN. Working for any other entity ot client that isn't part
of the approved sponsor is illegal.
