I'd say the chances of that jeopardizing your green card are low
because it sounds like it happened at the arraignment and you didn't
have to admit guilt. You do need to report the arrest on any document
that asks.
Noone on this forum could give a precise answer without seeing the court
records and checking California and immigration law to see what other
decisions have been though. Was your lawyer aware of your green card
status? Did you discuss any implications that your problem may cause?
Can you still call the lawyer and run this by him? I'd suspect that any
lawyer in California that handled criminal cases also knows a lot about
immigration law.
