Just got put on insulin for the first time. I get my prescriptions by
mail and the first batch came today. I can't read my doctors
handwriting, but he told me that I would be taking a small dose. The
bottles say 15 units/night. Does this sound right?

i have to say that I was expecting something like 10 vials to come,
but only 2 ( each 10 ml ) came. The pharmarcy is pretty good but does
make an occasional error and I would like to make sure that they
didn't this time. Does 2 vials for 3 months at 15 units/night sound
right?

I will be going back to my doctors office sometime this week ( for the
nurses to show me how to inject myself ), and I would like to have
this right before I go. Thanks.

Are you sure you are getting three month's worth? I can get pills for three
months, but insulin only for one month. Insulin doses can and do vary. I
take 94 units each night. I started at a much lower number. Can't remember
what it was now.

I don't know anything about vials. I use a pen. Should say on the vials
how much is in there. Do the math.
