I believe it is actually uncontrolled diabetes which will affect the eyes
and vision. If it's kept in check there is no more than normal problem.

I agree. Having had undiagnosed Type 2 diabetes for possibly ten years or
more before diagnosis in 1995, I keep tight control of my diabetes. I have a
thorough dilated eye examination twice a year. So far, no problems at all. I
don't expect any.

Henry Mydlarz.

As a 30 year diabetic with full injected insulin requirement I have
had my eyes lased since 1988.. The problem is leakage of small blood
vessels that will destroy the retina if not treated. Today the
results of laser cauterization of these vessels is very useful.

BUT, the problems must be discovered. An eye exam by an
EYE doctor is the clue at the recommended period.

Or you can set around and guess,-- just talk about it.

I was lucky to get on a schedule with a competent group of doctors.

Talking about it is cheap as is so much of the talk here.

Diabetes is not a game or toy, The consequences of lack of knowledge
will hurt you.

The passing out of junk gossip will hurt you in the long run.

But worry will hurt you in so many ways.

Get good knowledge and execute a good program. Info HERE and
on the Internet can be very useful

Learn and execute is all we can do. Then it is time to relax and
live.

If we have other problems there are so many Internet places to go
that they should not be here.

Those throwing fits do not belong here except medical problems.
That deserve a lot more attention and factual data.

above all---relax and enjoy life. It is insane to waste it with the
subhuman traits lets us be growling at everyone. Growl at
those profiting from us and collecting huge fees for very little.
