Hey Percy,

Hypurin NPH and Regular are available without a script and are part of
your Drug Product Database(DPD) since 13February2006.

It might not be in stock at your local pharmacy but they can order it.

I've bought it on the internet from two places, one in BC and the other
in Ontario and had it shipped without a scrip to the States.

If you want to get it directly from Wockhardt you can do that also.

anyways, all the best

Hi Nas, and thanks. A good tidbit to tuck away for the future.

LOL (in an honestly friendly way)

that's what i love about posting

"tuck away"

and do nothing when in fact it's
amzingly easy for you to do something now,
that is well worth trying

I've been doing exceedingly well on the pump, so it isn't an issue at the moment, but basal insulin is always a concern looming in the background. Human NPH and Lantus aren't going in my body, so that leaves not-too-much. It's good to see Wockhardt has a foothold in the Canadian market. It's only a matter of time until their full line is available.

"matter of time"

even if beef ever does become available
in Canada, odds are it will never cross
your mind to actually do something

I suspect my endo would be horrified

that's a pretty safe bet

mine was horrified when he found
out that the current beef and pork
that i'm using is 4-to-7 years
past expiration

but i'm working on him. :)

you need to start making your
own insulin choices. to me that's
what the book's about (i've yet to
get my copy, may be 1/2 weeks),
and hopefully that's what this
thread is about. :)
