The one time I've had to throw strips away was when a batch got too
hot... how back-to-nature do you go? There's always the damp hessian
sack cooling method, if nothing more technical is available? I don't
know if keeping them in a warm part of a fridge would hurt them just
as much as the heat... you could phone the manufacturer up and ask?
