Also, I understand the unit is sealed (no way to replace the battery) which
means you need a new one when the battery expires, is that true?

I ordered the upgrade kit Thursday at 2 PM, and was wearing my first
sensor by 1 PM Friday(today).
So far so good. Shows nice graphs of my blood sugar on my 1 month old
722.
sensors! :)
As far as I can tell, I should get about 7 days out of one $35 sensor.
That I can just afford. I will know better in a month.
