the "death in bed" studies have clearly
showed that that death from hypo is NOT rare
("rare" meaning 2%/3% or less)
but being unresponsive and unable to drink juice means it's time for glucagon, (or maybe for glucose paste or cake frosting stuffed in your cheeks if you think that will help).
But yeah, it's a big challenger for her, and for me too. I need to lead by example, and that was not a good example.
if it were just you, or you and yer wife, i'd bet
a million to one that you'd NEVER make any changes
(to a pump or anything else, than using fast synthetic)
your young t1 daughter changes the equation
and likely forces you to consider things
that you'd NEVER otherwise think twice about
imho, you are like biggs in that neither of
you really sees the forest
