I wouldn't say "struggling" -- more like "coping, with constant
attention".

Yeah, I was inspired -- by my doctor when she said "you have diabetes" --
she didn't have to go on from there, I knew about the (possible)
complications that could occur if I didn't take care of this. After a bit
of swearing & cussing, I started reading up, taking control, *dealing with
it*.

I got "inspired" by my 4 year old daughter getting diagnosed with it. Her
numbers are better than mine, darn it!
