I'm not going to preach but I eat a lot less carbs, weigh 155 am 54yr male and only use 28 units of insulin a day. Lower carbs and lower insulin doses will make you free.
I still eat spaghetti at GREAT Italian restaurants, only the good stuff-just not much and take the rest home to heat up over the
next 2-3 days.
I used to eat a ton of carbs but after forties it gets harder to lose weight. That's my story. YMMV

weight since March (when I first saw an endo, pump came in May). My total daily insulin is anywhere from the mid 30's to mid 40's right now. Higher if I put in a new set that didn't work and my BG shoots up, and I need a large correction. My pumped insulin isn't poison, it's freedom.
