Has anyone been prescribed this med yet?

Irbesartan ( Avapro ) is a new pharmaceutical for type II's with
hypertension and kidney failure.

I'd like to know how well it's working for those who are taking it.

I'm thinking of asking my PCP to start me on it due to my kidney problems
recently.
