That isn't what is driving the pharmaceutical industry in India. I
suggest you take a real good look at Indian Demographics these days.
Yes, a lot of the country is dirt poor. BUT, if you have a middle
class that is only 10% of the populations, that is a larger market
(~100 million) place than almost any other country has! There is in
fact a huge market, and a huge amount of money to be made.
