You specifically asked me about creditors from my 2003 bankruptcy,

*your* or *my* email address. You lied in order to determine if I was
really the person you were "investigating." Remember? The only way to
get this level of detail for "public information" records is to pay
for a background report or visit the courthouse in Columbus, which is
significantly more expensive than $39.95.

Remember when you thought I was Jeanne M. Guetzkow, and you thought
I'd married a man named Daniel who had died? I subsequently discovered
there was a "Daniel Guetzkow" who published several articles to MHA in
1994, which must be where you made this odd connection. You'll be
happy to know that Daniel Guetzkow is apparently still alive, since
his name doesn't appear in the Social Security Death Index.

Your theory at the time was that you had known "me" (the Jeanne
Guetzkow person) when I was a teenager, that I was somehow connected
to PR&TR, and that was why I was in your life.

Then, by running the background check, you discovered that hey! I
actually *am* Marcia Ferrin, that I've told the truth about my
background, that you do not, in fact, know me, and that I have no
reason to be involved with you other than to constantly remind you I'm
not connected to your life in any way *other* than responding to your
messages on Usenet.

Are you aware that doing a background check without appropriate reason is
considered invasion of privacy? Further, conveying the information
discovered inappropriately is a libelous act? IOW, you can sue the
***!

Oh, *she* claims she's investigating my background for a so-called
*legitimate* lawsuit in Texas (a state I've never been in,
incidentally). I'm letting her run with the rope. If the so-called
*legitimate* lawsuit doesn't materialize, she's screwed herself,
legally.

I think it would be in her best interest to stop mentioning my name.
