"Flu Vaccine"
Another influenza season is beginning, and the U.S. Center for Disease
Control and Prevention (CDC) will strongly urge Americans to get a flu shot.
In fact, the CDC mounts a well-orchestrated campaign each season to generate
interest and demand for flu shots.
But a recent study published in the October issue of the Archives of
Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine found that vaccinating young children
against the flu appeared to have no impact on flu-related hospitalizations
or doctor visits during two recent flu seasons. ...
Outstanding and interesting posting.
In addition to the other negative factors in the article, there is
THIS to consider:
Suppose the flu vaccine works perfectly, has no side effects and does
not contain any toxins or other deleterious substances - it STILL may
not work because the flu virus to which the vaccine is targeted may
have mutated. .
CitizenJimserac
You're so far out with the fairies that I'm sure you haven't even
noticed that a flu vaccine that works perfectly and a flu vaccine that
STILL may not work are two mutually exclusive things.
Gee Mark said something similar ->
"Nah...let's keep it as Dr. Moran wrote. It is closer to the real
world
than yours."
This guy related to you or is it just that little minds think alike?
You cannot even get that right. It is GREAT minds think alike. That is
a foriegn concept for pea brains, like you.
Ah I see!!!! "Great" minds you want, is it?

A number of studies have reported that influenza vaccine (IV)
administration has been less than optimally effective in certain
subpopulations. This study examines yearly influenza death rate,
yearly influenza case rate, and yearly rate of hospitalizations with
influenza as the first-listed discharge diagnosis. By these measures,
the yearly U.S. mass influenza vaccination campaign has been
ineffective in preventing influenza in vaccine recipients. T
he use of antiviral drugs to treat influenza, in light of the
potential for an influenza pandemic, needs further consideration.
