Hi,
I have an Atlas King Juicer - made in East Peoria Illinois made by
Juice-Master MFG. Co.
Model number 240.
I acquired this monster from someone's whose grandparents where
"health nuts" and they bought it sometime in the 60's. It's very
heavy and the motor is something you'd find on a washing machine.
I even had the user's manual - but lost it during a move. I'm trying
to find out more about it. Actually, I'm looking to see if I can fix
it. It runs great but there's a rubber collar running around the top
of the bowl so that when u put on the top and screw in down there is
space between the juicing disks and metal that's part of the top.
I'm not really doing a good job of describing this but I'm just
trying to get information about this machine so I can fix it. I'm
thinking maybe using a cut bike tire tube to put on the lip of this
bowl.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
I really shows how well this country used to build things. This thing
will be around after all the ones I see on late night a dust.
