Those clients of mine who adopted the methods of Orthopathy usually
found their symptoms gone with in 6 to eight weeks.
When they begin eating the right things correctly and allow the colon
to turn acidic, the symptoms abate.  You can try probiotics but the
correct dietary with a little corn starch can do the trick.

researcher. Moayyedi and co-investigators at Mayo Clinic in
Jacksonville, FL and Rochester, MN; McMaster University in Ontario,
Canada; University College in Cork, Ireland and Montefiore Medical
Center in New York City, conducted this meta-analysis presented at the
ACG Annual Scientific Meeting in Orlando.

Well, one has to realize that there are dis-ease producing lifestyles
and health promoting lifestyles. There is no single treatment for any
dis-ease. The treatment that restores the one will likewise restore
the other…that is to say that the body, given the conditions of health
promotion will do so regardless of the dis-ease. This nullifies the
medical monopoly statement about any special diet for any disease.

For IBS, one needs to address any stress in the daily routine.

Secondly, all food must be eaten in a manner that the body will be
nourished and not compromised with indigestion. Digestive enzymes do
work here.
Breakfast should be fresh melon and/or fruit and fresh squeezed fruit
juice. The typical American breakfast of coffee, eggs, fried
potatoes, pork products, refined/bleached toast, processed orange
juice, and sugar laden jelly must be avoided.
Lunch will be a large salad with a non-meat sandwich (BLT- bread,
lettuce and tomato ) or non-meat soup.
Dinner will be a fruit appetizer followed in 45 min with a large salad
and the non-meat entrée of choice. A dessert is not offered.
Exercise is needed. A 30 min walk is sufficient if done at a
reasonable pace. Lymphasizing is always to be recommended.

In order to restore normal colon performance, fiber is needed, both
soluble and non-soluble. The soluble fiber bulks the stool while the
non soluble “tickles” the colon for peristalsis.
I add corn starch since humans have limited to no ability to digest
starch. This starch flows through to the colon where the colonic
bacteria can then act on the starch via fermentation. This activates
and promotes the healthy colonic bacteria which produces short chain
fatty acids and makes the colon acidic.

As I said, there are lifestyles that produce dis-ease ( the typical
American lifestyle) and there are those that promote health.
