It's especially difficult if the things you learn tie well into lots
of other things forming a coherent whole. Physics tieing into
chemistry, which ties into molecular biology, which ties into
physiology, and the physics tieing into engineering, the chemistry
tieing into chemical engineering and industrial processes, all of
them being cross-checked against everyday activities such as
labwork, and so on.
Yes, it is true that things need to cross check against other things.
And one thing that does cross check is that conventional medicine is
hopeless at curing chronic disease.
Another thing is that chemo is hopeless at curing cancer.
Yes, Carole, one of the reasons that we aren't impressed by your
(plural) magical claims is that they are directly contradicted by
reality checks that we process on a daily basis. Either your woo
works or this computer doesn't -- pick one.
What is a "woo"?
Of course, people *can* simply refuse to check their beliefs against
reality. That happens a lot, as long as reality doesn't come knocking
on its own.
I've checked my beliefs against reality and have found that conventional
medicine is hopeless at curing chronic disease.
