Well, you are correct about not bowing to the gods of allopathic
medicine.

Everyone has their beliefs, the right to share opinions, and the right
to agree to disagree, but the name calling, is ridiculous.
I think you will find that this newsgroup participation will be of
better quality if you just talk about your beliefs and not make fun of
the others opinions by name calling, and the insults.

Don't worry too much, Bee. Even in the controversies of conventional medicine there can be some fairly forthright personal attacks.

The irony of all this is that I am, in general, more tolerant of alternative usage than most of my skeptic friends. I think I understand why people use them. I do think they could be used more wisely when serious illnesses are involved, and I think that the promoters of alternative medicines should be put under more pressure to justify themselves with results, rather than lies and exaggerations about the mainstream.
