Vultch: Folate(folic acid) saved my life! In 1999 I was
diagnosed by a DO(MD) as folate depleted. I know what
the symptoms of folate depletion/deficiency are. Again,
no "tit-for-tat" here! This article is current, relevant, and
contains new findings(research/study).

Paul

have no clue what you are getting at above

doesn't take a "folate deficieny" for it to be prescribed in pregnancy...in
fact..most are NOT folate deficient...

unless Paul is for Pauline...the article concerning "trimester etc" could
not be relevant to you...

it is truly old news...as folic acid has long been given to pregnant
ladies..in fact...also suggested prior to conception...

I was given folic acid supplements in pregnancy decades ago...

so yes..old news

the article you quote ONLY documents folate as helping to prevent pre
eclampsia

since it has been used for DECADES to help prevent spinal cord
defects...the
pre eclampsia data while it might be "new data" does not indicate that
folate has been given in pregnancy for decades

but then...how would you know that?? ever taken care of pregnant females??
or handed out bottles of prenatal vits..course not...what are your medical
qualifications again?? oh right...none
