Because in woowoo land one experiment is sufficient to prove
something, regardless of the quality of the research or the methods
employed. Also, they wouldn't want to be proved wrong.
And in "Alice in Sketpicland", THEY don't want to
admit that repetitions of the experiment that failed,
did so because the test protocols were changed
from what Ennis used. THEY don't want
Homeopathy to be proved right.
Dennis was deluded. She made a mistake (perhaps more than one), but as
that mistake made her famous she is reluctant to admit t.
For the umpteenth time,
There was NO mistake. The experiment REALLY HAPPENED as described and
REALLY GOT POSITIVE RESULTS.
Ennis really is a credentialed and creditable researcher.
You cannot dismiss her research by calling her
deluded as just as you cannot so easily dismiss
the research of Dr. Iris Bell M.D., Phd nor of Dr.
Rustum Roy.
The repetition of the experiment by that world famous
scientific organization, ABC News, altered the test
parameters and got negative results.
You just don't get it, do you. If you repeat a bad experiment, the
result will be the same. That's not repeating an experiment, that's
making the same mistake over and over again. Another word for that is
'stupidity'. The people who ABC used weren't stupid and that's why
they got negative results.
THAT was the mistake.
It proved NOTHING.
It proved Ennis made an error (or errors), but can't admit it.

ABANDON YE All Objectivity Who Enter the Gates
of Skepticland. Condemn! Condemn! The enemy
Homeopathy must be destroyed at all costs.
Oh please.
Do you assert that the credentialed, competent
and qualified researcher Ennis made an error
in her observations, test protocol or other error?
Do you assert that Ennis is a superhuman, who can not make any
mistakes? And do you assert at the same time that all the people who
tried to repeat the experiment, who were credentialed, competent and
qualified researchers, are all idiots? I think you do.
There was NO error. The experiment
REALLY HAPPENED and the results
were published.
Those two fact are indeed undisputed.
Ennis stated:
"Despite my reservations against the science of homoeopathy, the
results compel me to suspend my disbelief and to start searching for a
rational explanation for our findings."
Which has been found: the experiment was set up rather loosely with
regard to controls.
Now what the hell are you going to claim,
maybe that Madmae Davenas had a lesbian
relationship Ennis and influenced her too????
So you agree that Davenas faked the Benveniste experiment?
Put up or SHUT UP.
And here we have yet another altie with a control problem.
