Ah, but the karmic burden ...

Not to mention the cow-orkers. This has probably derailed a rather
expensive and important new product development for $EMPLOYER, despite
excellent execution on the part of said cow-orkers. Can't help but
feel bad about it.

I remember the lunches delivered to my door..and my then not hubby having to
stand in the shower with me so I could wash my hair (heaven!!)...as with
cast toes to groin ...well you get the picture

There are times to spring for a trip to the stylists' salon.
Cheap luxury, that.

at least now ortho has advanced to scope surgery when possible..."black
ortho boots" for ankle and foot fractures..and my fave...the neatest heavy
plastic cover for cast that allows one to shower on one's own...

Ah, yes -- sleeping in my skin instead of some instrument of torture.
Of course, it's all wrong and the folx here will tell me that I'm a
dupe of Evil Organized Medicine with their slavery to the Titanium
Cartel.

Since I'm allowed to shower without appliances, the cast cover isn't
a big issue. For which, much appreciation.
