Yes, you are afraid. You are afraid to answer
these questions:

Take the recent case of curcumin, for which you wrote
an "article" extolling its virtues. Did you leave out
the information that it is an inhibitor of the two most
important drug-metabolizing and drug-transporting enzymes
(CYP3A4 and P-gp) because you were ignorant of that, or
did you leave it out because you didn't want to hurt
sales of curcumin-based supplements? Curcumin can
increase the potency of drugs by retarding their
transport out of the body and destruction in the liver.
For drugs with a low therapeutic index (small difference
between an effective dose and a lethal dose), this
could have disasterous consequences. When I provide
this information, you call that "trolling".

As another example, you recently posted an "article"
on tocotrienols, which have the reverse effect. They
activate the steroid and xenobiotic receptor (SXR)
which increases the expression of CYP3A4, the main
drug-metabolizing enzyme in the liver. Other SXR
activators have been shown to cause diminished
effectiveness of drugs, resulting in failure of
contraceptive drugs to prevent pregnancy and failure
of the anti-rejection drug cyclosporine to prevent
organ rejection. Again, did you omit that information
because you were ignorant of it, or did you omit that
information because you were afraid it would hurt
the sales of tocotrienols? Which is it, Dave?

Mark, what do I care about tocotrienols or curcumin? I only care that
information on them becomes available on this forum.

Then why did you exclude this VERY important information
from your postings on these subjects? Is it because
you were unaware of this information? Or is it because
it would have given people caution about using these
supplements?

You didn't answer these questions. Your reply was
nothing but spin to avoid answering these questions.

I fill in the gaps in your crap "articles". I fill in
the information consumers need to know when making
decisions about using supplements. You always reply
with insults and lies when I do that. You never respond
to the facts that I raise.

More cross posting, more cut and paste flames. Wow, this moron has
gone over the top and 'round the bend,

Shall I assume you are completely unable to answer
these questions, which directly address your honesty
(or lack thereof) and ability to discuss scientific
issues in a rational way?

More cross posting, eh Troll? Look at one of those sites you cross
post to and see what it looks like. Stacks of posts from you alone,
flaming someone. That really helps you NOT look like a troll, right
Mark? Listen, Pharma Boy, I can say whatever I like here, just like
you. No one bullies me off. Least of all a chemical industry shill,

Dave
