I think that's right. In order to be a published author, or to be at
least a decent writer, you need to have something of your own to say.
All you do, throughout all of your posts on the usenet, is respond by
hook and barb to OTHER PEOPLE's commentary.

You haven't much experience reading the newsgroups
you spam with your advertisements for your commercial
blogspot web site. I've started lots of threads,
with original material, and you'd know that if you
had spent much time reading the newsgroups.

But you don't know that, because you only recently
started spamming newsgroups with your slightly
warmed-over "articles" and rehashed HerbClip
press releases. You are not aware of the history
of posters to the newsgroups you spam, because
you only use these newsgroups as an outlet for
"free" advertising (which is explicitly prohibited
in the charters for these newsgroups).

Pharma Boy,

Please go back over your list of posts and find a few for me that are
your own original threads. I can't find them.

I read a variety of newsgroups on many subjects, and contribute to
lots of them. Sometimes, like you, I'll just post a response to
someone else's thread. But I can guarantee you that I am not hanging
around like some kind of self-appointed usenet policeman. Mark, you
know it and so does anyone that looks at your trail . . . You are not
posting your own content. You are simply policing those with views
different than yours.

And, I'm afraid you've run into someone here (me) who isn't afraid of
your bullying cop mentality. You'll (hopefully) find others out there
who will begin to resent it as well. This is a healthy "alternatives"
forum, and your policing is much less relevant here than it would be
on a pharma industry discussion forum. Why don't you seek one of those
out.

PS - I have removed all the cross posting from my reply. If you
respond once again, let's see how those darn cross posts get
generated. That's the true trait of a usenet abuser.

Dave

I am so tired of all those who wish to "protect me/us from ourselves. I do
not want your protection nor your rules/ restrictions. Just let me have the
information and I will make my own decisions about what to use or not thank
you. Nanny state sucks.

I'm actually rather embarrassed at this thread. I'm changing the name
back to the original comment that I posted, before being attacked, and
hopefully we can drop it at this stage. Like some bad dates, flame
wars don't look all that great the morning after.
