Thanks, Brightwinger for mentioning this! But it probably
won't make an impact on Mark Thorson. Internet trolls
aren't too concerned about small matters like the truth.

Dave, you've got a lot of nerve making a statement
like that when you have frequently made LYING
accusations against me. You have several times
accused me of being a "pharmaceutical chemist".
Falsely accusing someone of being a "pharmaceutical
chemist" in this newsgroup is exactly like accusing
someone of being a Communist back in the 1950's.
You have been practicing a form of neo-McCarthyism.

You don't care about that. When you can't defend
your poorly written articles against honest criticism,
you'll use any kind of character assassination
to attack the critic rather than the criticism.

Your articles are always slanted to support
sales of supplements. You never mention the
risks or drug interactions that the products
you promote may have. You only mention the
aspects that would cause people to buy the
products, never the aspects which would give
them caution.

Your articles could actually harm people,
because you omit this information. I fill in
those gaps, and when I do, you respond with
nasty attacks and name-calling. You have no
interest in helping people -- your only
interest is getting your share of the
multi-billion dollar supplement business.
You lack common human decency.

Mark, I've gone back and looked at your previous "work" on this site.
There's no way to describe it, except that you post inflammatory
statements and cause trouble. In short form, thats usually called a
"troll." Sorry if you don't like this, but heck . . .you've earned it.
See one of the longest threads ever on this newsgroup, the one you
entitled "Supplements KILL!!!" and which, after 450+ posts, you showed
your stripes because half of those were you calling other people
LIARS. This appears to be your favorite language -- you always put the
LIAR or LYING word in capital letters, and you use it very frequently.
So frequently that most people have long ago discounted your ability
to maintain a decent, cohesive thread. It doesn't bother me so much
because you are a known quantity here, but I don't like the fact that
others stop posting when they see you are involved. I think that's a
shame, because many of the posts you jump in about with your crazy
exaggerations are good topics that need further discussion.

so you get the point:

So, you are basing your behavior on such a keen insight about other
people as to brand them and use your name-calling just because you
THINK that they "may" be going to do something in the future? Never
mind that there are no advertisements and no spam, etc, but because
you seem to know what I am "trying to do?" Wow, but that certainly
sounds as if you are someone who has gone into a big, deep chasm
mentally.

Mark, I don't need to justify my posts here to you, a troll, but I
will try to do so one more time. As stated in my non-commercial blog,
I have been IN THE BUSINESS of pharmaceuticals and dietary supplements
for more than 25 years. I sold my company to a $4.4 billion firm and
am now using my career knowledge of these industry sectors to write
about things that work and don't work. I don't have advertisers, and
don't intend to have advertisers. I write because I love to write.
Sorry to burst your bubble about what you "think" is going to happen.
And when I write about research on something that I am in any way
remotely involved in, I state so specifically and then do NOT post
that work anywhere else, as in a usenet post, unless it is very
important research of some kind. That seems to be a logical and
ethical way for an insider to write about health topics.

I'd seriously reconsider your choice of spending more time on the
usenet Mark. Judging by what I just read in your "Supplements
KILLS!!!" thread, you've got a serious problem of some kind that needs
help. While I know you don't like supplements (the basic core of your
anger towards me judging by your other posts here), you really could
do with some St. Johns Wart or Rhodiola rosea.
