Relief for atopic dermatitis??

Hello!

I have been suffering from mild to moderate atopic dermatitis for a
couple of years now, and I have tried so many lotions (typical name
brand found at wal-mart and such), and I just can't stop the
itching!! I don't like taking regular doses of Benadryl because I
hate chemical based medication, so I am hoping someone has some ideas
on how I can alleviate the itch factor??

My skin has improved since I started drinking a juice blend that helps
w/ my inflammation problems, but I know the dermatitis is not just
going away because my triggers are my cats.
:-) Yeah, I know, my doctor tells me all the time I need to find them
a new home, but I can't do it! I can live with the occassional flare
ups, but the CONSTANT need to scratch my legs is excruciating. Am I
just SOL unless I get rid of my lil fur babies?
