That's a nice theory; but unless you have enough $ to buy one of those
M.D. certificates, it's not simple to get medicines requiring a
prescription.

(Not that there's any real distinction between the Federal Government and
the Medical-Industry, when you consider how huge a chunk of tax dollars go
into M.D.'s pockets.)

Most things do not require those drugs. Even then a little research could
show that one "doctor" is better than another. Or, that a recommended
therapy is not all it's touted to be.
