Ever seen what Chlorine does to brain cells? Can anyone live without
Sodium Chloride?
I ask those questions of you, Vince, because its clear you don't know
anything about chemistry.
Thimerisal is not mercury, even though it contains mercury. Water
isn't oxygen, even though it contains it.
Please try breathing some water and see if the O2 in it behaves the
same as the O2 in the air you're supposed to breathe.

As you think that comparing chlorine to salt and oxygen to water prove
that the mercury in thimerisal is safe indicates to me that either you
do not understand chemistry or your overlooking facts.

Facts? YOU, Vince, YOU invoke "Facts". Oh, I'm going to need a new
keyboard and screen!

From the first
link you poste ] "Toxicology
Thiomersal is harmful by inhalation and ingestion, lethal between 50
and 1000 times[citation needed][1] the usual intake (hazard symbol T+).
[2] It is a neoplastigen and a teratogen. Thiomersal is also dangerous
for the environment (hazard symbol N).

Here's a little about Chlorine, that essential element that is a big
part of Sodium Cholride, a mineral essential for human life.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chlorine

"...In its elemental form under standard conditions, it is a pale
green gas about 2.5 times as dense as air. It has a disagreeable,
suffocating odor that is detectable in concentrations as low as 3.5
ppm[1] and is poisonous. Chlorine is a powerful oxidant and is used in
bleaching and disinfectants. As a common disinfectant, it is used in
swimming pools to keep them clean. In the upper atmosphere, chlorine
atoms have been implicated in destruction of the ozone layer...."

And

"...Chlorine gas, also known as bertholite, was first used as a weapon
in World War I by Germany on April 22, 1915 in the Second Battle of
Ypres. As described by the soldiers it had a distinctive smell of a
mixture between pepper and pineapple. It also tasted metallic and
stung the back of the throat and chest. It was pioneered by a German
scientist later to be a Nobel laureate, Fritz Haber. It is alleged
that his role in the use of chlorine as a deadly weapon drove his wife
to suicide. After its first use, it was utilized by both sides as a
chemical weapon..."

And

"...Chlorine gas has been used by insurgents in the Iraq War as a
chemical weapon to increase the capability to threaten the local
population and coalition forces in their attacks. On March 17, 2007,
for example, three chlorine filled trucks were detonated in the Anbar
province killing 2 and sickening over 350.[9] Other chlorine bomb
attacks resulted in higher death tolls, with more than 30 deaths on
two separate occasions.[10] While fatalities are common, chlorine
bombings do not inflict a massive loss of life, and are primarily
intended to create widespread panic...."

Chlorine is a toxic gas that irritates the respiratory system. Because
it is heavier than air, it tends to accumulate at the bottom of poorly
ventilated spaces. Chlorine gas is a strong oxidizer, which may react
with flammable materials. For more information see an MSDS.

http://www.westlake.com/datasheets/MSDS_Chlorine.pdf

Hazard Summary Statement: WARNING! HIGHLY TOXIC. CORROSIVE. May be
fatal if
inhaled. Strong oxidizer. Most combustibles will burn in chlorine as
they do in oxygen. Read
entire Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).

For more safety information on how to handle thiomersal, consult its
MSDS (material safety data sheet).

Thiomersal causes susceptible bacteria to autolyze (break down their
own cells with self-produced enzymes) via an unknown mechanism.
[citation needed] In the body, it is metabolized to ethylmercury
(C2H5Hg+) and thiosalicylic acid.[3]
Source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thimerosal Your source did you
read it?

Vince, here is the good news, Thimerosal is safe and wholesome. You
are now free to pursue other fallacies.

Again from the source you posted] " ...... Toxicology

SURE SOUNDS SAFE AND WHOLESOME TO ME.

Good, now bugger off and embrace some other fallacy. You see, all
things are poison, depending on the dose.
Thimerisal, as used in vaccines, is Safe & Wholesome.

Perhaps you oversold this toxin as "Safe And Wholesome "

Perhaps you should see what the word "Toxin" means. Thimerisal isn't
a toxin. Perhaps if you were aware of what Thimerisal actually is
(and had a basic knowledge of chemistry), you'd quit wasting time
worrying about nothing.

Toxin, n, A poisonous substance, especially a protein, that is
produced by living cells or organisms and is capable of causing
disease when introduced into the body tissues but is often also
capable of inducing neutralizing antibodies or antitoxins.

Do you think it should ingested with cereal.

Dude, its safe when used in vaccines. Quit being paranoid about
something that isn't a problem. There are plenty of real problems to
worry your precious little mind over.

I understand the first rule of toxicology, Beavis, uh, I mean Vince.
I also know that thimerisal hasn't lived up to ANY of the anti-vac
liar's hype.
Its Safe, Practical, and very wholesome when used in vaccines. IF
you disagree, you better get the Cholrine out of your life. Its
poison, Vince, and they're putting it into Children's Ice Cream!
