HAND SANITIZERS: GOOD OR BAD?

Many people all around the world have come to known and use hand
sanitizers. There are many popular brands, making money of the new
phase of germaphobic. In long term use, I believe them to be harmful.
(i.e. Skin irritation & Good bacteria)
For example, in vaccines, you receive a weakened virus, thus your body
learns to develop and fight of the infection.
With purell, and other popular brands of hand sanitizers, you are
depriving your body to produce antibodies against the germs that can be
commonly found on hands.
So even though you may get sick less often, if something big was to hit
your immune system, it would be like full on war. Your immune system
would not no how to fight. It would take longer to get better.
Hand sanitizers, overall, deprive your immune system, and overall
weakens it.
So I was wondering if any one had thoughts on the subject?
Do you agree or disagree?
and do I have enough of an argument for a thesis?
.
