And yet the abstract of the study said:

"The use of the zoster vaccine reduced the burden of illness due to
herpes zoster by 61.1 percent (P<0.001), reduced the incidence of
postherpetic neuralgia by 66.5 percent (P<0.001), and reduced the
incidence of herpes zoster by 51.3 percent (P<0.001). Reactions at the
injection site were more frequent among vaccine recipients but were
generally mild."

Wow. Staggeringly, the recipients of the vaccine were 24% more likely
to have a sore spot on their arm. But 61% less likely to get ill.

One should also note that the article provides no evidence at all that
vitamin C can cure shingles, other than references to eight
40--60-year-old cases claimed by Klenner and similar "evidence".
