Which is a shame really. People who are honestly mistaken are much better illustration of what can go wrong in the world of alternative medicine than people who are just loopy as a fruitbat.

Who says it's an argument? Because it's not, it's an observation.
It does change the way how to deal with Eidem Kelly. Since he is evidently nuts, there is no point arguing with him. The only reason then to refute any of his claims is trying to prevent other people from believing them. Something which could cost them their life. That calls for a somewhat different approach of him and his claims.
