There is enough fraud in the attempt to sell you 46 visits that would leave
your spine looking exactly the same as it does now.
Thanks for the reply. While it is a bit sleazy, it is not fraud. I get
the impression that this kind of pitch is common among chiros. I went
to a site called quackwatch and they said to avoid chiros who take
unnecessary x-rays and also who try to sell long term contracts.
The xrays are probably merely of poor quality or badly centred and she
doesn't want them shown around for that reason.. It would be terribly
risky for her to try and fudge them. Can you show them to your doctor?
I have an appointment with my urologist on June 7. I could show them
to him then. He probably doesn't think much of chiros either. Althout
it sounds risky to fake an x-ray that doesnt mean she didn't do it.
I'm guessing the majority of people don't question such things
especially when they are pre-ocupied with their personal problem.
Did you pay separately for the xrays? If so they would be regarded as your
property in most jurisdictions.
I did not pay anything yet for the x-rays or the related office visit.
Thanks again.
Lawrence
