I use an antique Rolls razor, because I
like having a razor which lasts forever (but it
requires stropping with every use).

There was a Canadian company that produced a similar
razor (in concept), called the Autostrop, which was
bought by Gillette and shut down, however this may
have been due to a patent dispute between the two
companies (similar to the way Microsoft has handled
certain patent disputes), rather than any sense of
suppressing the competition.
