Imagine that disease is really caused by death rays from Mars
while you're at it.

Sorry. But while it's true that some types of immunity can be
passed from mother to child, the immunity is temporary.

Cross-generational effects could only work from mother to child, since
the father only donates one cell.

However, unless you or someone else can come up with mechanism by
which this kind of immunity can be inherited, AND some evidence that
this actually takes place, it's not really worth spending a lot of
time on. Not when there are more plausible ideas to be studied.
