Re: Tell dr's supplements you take



When I had my surgery in '01 they didn't ask but in '03 they did ask. I had
my supplements already listed with my dr's but the hospital also needed to
know what I was taking and took me off some of them a week to two weeks
prior to that surgery. The reason I mention this is because my mother and
the older relatives didn't know to tell of any of the otc stuff they were
taking until one almost bled to death because of vitamin E use. UM MOM
