Pushing exercises should NOT be done on the same day as pulling
exercises. True or false.
If they are to be separated, can they be done on two consecutive
days? Or leave an extra day or more in between?
Hey - it was an honest question. I had been doing all arm work during
one session, until someone told me to separate the pushes from the
pulls.
Thanks for the helpful and civil reply.

My advice is to listen to your body - if you are hitting your muscles
really
hard you will need more time for recovery - if you do a split routine
upper body/lower body or push/pull you can just experiment with what
works
for you, i.e. you can telll if you need more rest if your muscles are
still
sore wait anoher day or two -
OK - I accept your explanation. (It's pretty hard to convey tongue-in-
cheek in print and I took it to heart. Just think of me as another
thin-skinned female.)
I haven't been sore at all, so maybe I will go back to doing all arm
work on one day, legs another, and torso stuff on the third.(abs, back
etc) I am not interested in increasing a lot of strength, just want
to stay toned, flexible, and hang onto what strength I have.

yes I agree that is the idea as we get older - if we can maintain what we
have at least we are not going backwards
