There are three. C4/5, C5/6 and C6/7.
The Decompression/traction therapy is working well tho' and I've got it
down to 1 treatment per week. Right arm is still weak from the nerve
damage but the strength is coming back gradually. I can once again press
the bar for about 5 reps before it begins to wobble.

Time time time... <sigh> This sux.

At least I appear to have dodged neck surgery tho'. That's a plus.

Probably from oggling your own biceps while doing curls :P hehe

Is it nerve damage or compression where the function could be restored
were the impingement removed?


Hard to say at this point. I've got most of the feeling back in the
fingers of my right hand now, (still slight numbness in the first two
fingers) but the main thing is loss of strength. It's made it hard to
use the foam roller for IT band therapy etc. as I have to be able to
hold up my body weight.

The strength is gradually returning. Perry specifically said nerve
damage, so I'm not sure what to think. I AM getting better. When you
can't even lift a stinkin' Olympic bar for a bench press...

I'm just taking it slow.
