Regarding the Ross YouTube clip, I found full standing rollouts on an
incline ramp worked much better for me than partials on the floor -
put the top end on the 4th step in my basement, and would use the
steps to vary the resistance, e.g., 4 reps x 4th step, 3 reps x 3rd
step, etc. Also, the individual wheels look interesting but I just
a wheel that cost $6 from the local sporting good store - works fine,
one wheel that you hold onto via the "axle" on either side.
tough to do one handed roll outs with those though. :P
ross is a monster. has a couple good conditioning books available for
very reasonable prices too, and (since steve is in this thread)
they're kind of the opposite of pavel's books in that they're
relatively cheap in information dense. (not that i have anything
against pavel, but daaaamn, his books just are not good deals).
I haven't read any of Ross' books so I can't comment. I have always
enjoyed his web site and watching his videos.
