Regarding the binge drinking thing, I never drink alcohol. Once every 2 months a drink or 2 at max.

Im not sure how your ultrasound clarified that it was ok ? Did it initially say you had it....and then lost weight...had ultrasound again and it was gone ?

Ultrasounds dont show scarring or anything...so its hard to tell how messed up the liver really is without a biopsy..which I really dont want to do. But I really would like to know if its damaged or not.

You've got other oddities in your blood work, right? Well, something certainly is amiss in the liver. First thing to do is lose fat. I know you don't think you've got a problem there, but even thin 'looking' people can have dangerous levels of intra-abdominal fat (another reason why BMI measurements are complete bull***). A liver biopsy is NOT a good experience. If your doctor orders one, he'd better have a damn good reason. given the choice, I'd have a dozen marrow biopsies on the same day rather than one liver biopsy.
