That's your definition. Arnold, Frank Zane, Larry Scott, and Sergio Oliva
did not strip all fluids from their bodies and they looked a lot better than
the majority of the steroid monkeys that have been in the bodybuilding scene
for the past twenty years.
STFU, Moose. You got all specific with your interpretation of what Zen
had asked me and now you wanna offer some news about bodybuilding as a
sport in its 1970's incarnation? BS!
TODAY, physique competition IS about maintaining max muscle while
stripping away the fluid and the fat. I do agree, however, that
physiques look better simply in a lean but not dehydrated or starved
condition.
I think the bodybuilding scene would be much better with strict drug testing
and a general policy of crowning a new champion every year just like Miss
America or any other beauty pageant. I honestly have no interest in Dorian
I'm almost certain that I mentioned that same concept... the idea that
it'd be one win and then choose another winner, but there's the
obvious asterisk problem in that philosophy which was also discussed,
iirc, in whatever thread it was. People want to compete against the
very best. I wonder where Kai Greene and Phil Heath would have landed
in the placings. Regardless, bodybuilding is not a beauty pageant
although it has some similar characteristics. It is what it is. And
I'm a fan.
Yates, Lee Haney, Ronnie Coleman, or any of those other freaks, and crowning
them numerous times just makes me more convinced that the only thing that
they are champions of is STEROIDS.
Get over it. There's the OCB then.

Have at. I'll be attending the NABBA USA Nationals this weekend and I
doubt those athletes are as deep into the juice as the Olympians. You
must like the sport on some level or you wouldn't be participating
here, yes?
Bodybuilding has become a contest of who has the strongest kidneys and can
absorb the most amounts of steroids.
Whatever. Quit your b!tching. Knitting is an option. Enjoy!
