You spent 2.5 hours in the gym? That is FAR too much time.

Yes But, I have five good friends to BS with, I can do my wkout in an hour
if I want (don't look up).
The new school says you can take all day to do your wkout as long as you
get it done.
The old 30/10 seconds is gone even though I do it fast most of the time
out of habit!
Remember, I got nothing to do but workout, cycle or "honey does" and the
stock market at night fort a few hours.
This retired life is hard but I will continue to sacrifice myself and stay
out of the way for the good of you young guys, just pay your taxes and
vote me a raise if you get a chance.
Thank You Very Much

That's good to hear. If you were working out that long, you would be
seriously over trained. People don't realize that it is far easier to over
train is you don't train hard. That sounds odd, but if you don't train hard,
you can sit around and do 20 sets of 10 reps, not get tired, but still be
over trained. That is why I've always thought that the best method of
training is to take the intensity ideology of HIT and work it with multiple
sets. It is impossible to properly train a muscle from a single set, but you
need the intensity from that school of training. I trained chest and back
the other day in 30 minutes. I did 2 exercises/body part, 4 sets/exercise. I
like to alternate every few months between the main schools of splits. I
will train chest/shoulders/tris, legs, back/bis for 2-3 months and then
switch to chest/back, legs, shoulders/arms. I have a preference for the
chest/back, legs, shoulders/tris as I like pumping the arms up on the same
day, but I get more variety this way.
